BusyTwin
Privacy notice
Plain-language summary of how BusyTwin handles your information.
What we collect
- Your account: username, an encrypted (hashed) password, and any email addresses you give us for notices.
- Calendar access: when you connect Google or Microsoft, we receive access tokens. We never see your Google or Microsoft password. Tokens are stored encrypted.
- Calendar events: we read events in the calendars you connect so we can create busy blocks, offer free times on your booking page and build feeds you publish. We keep only what's needed to keep blocks up to date (such as event times and the IDs of blocks we created), not copies of your calendars.
- Bookings: the name, email, notes and meeting location that people enter when they book time with you.
- Invite requests: the name, email and answers you send us when asking for an invite.
How we use it
Only to provide BusyTwin: syncing busy time, running booking pages and feeds you set up, sending the emails these need, and responding to invite requests. We don't sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it except with the services that make BusyTwin work (your calendar providers, the email service, and video meeting providers you choose).
BusyTwin's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
- Choose what is copied between calendars. By default, only "Busy" is.
- Remove a calendar at any time. The busy blocks BusyTwin created from it are deleted.
- You can also revoke access from your Google or Microsoft account settings.
- Ask us to delete your account and data, or to remove an invite request, at any time.
